So, we all know that Stellar Dawn is going to be Sci-Fi. We don't know anything other than that and what a few screenies reveal. So this allows a lot of room for imagination. This thread is meant for telling your story. Be imaginative, be creative and tell us how you became a Space Captain, Mercenary, or whatever you are ;)
Start off with where your character was born (whether here or on another planet), what species they are, ect. Most importantly, have fun!

In a galaxy far far away... :P
A girl named Lyrassia was born in a small side chamber of her parents Snowy Fortress (bahahaha) on the planet Der'Gon in the city of AbeTruhbel (DerGonaBeTruhbel, say it fast ;)). When she was 16, the government attacked her parents fortress and killed everyone inside, she managed to escape in her parents cruiser launching herself far away from the planet, destined for locations unknown.
After weeks of tireless travel, she arrived on a lush planet with many large citys built on or around lakes, forests and waterfalls of unmatched size and beauty. She landed and was warmly greeted by a family of natives who took her in. Unfortunately, the planet became engulfed in a war with a nearby planet and Lyrassia quickly learned the ways of war. The war lasted for ten years in which she became a dangerous and combative Captain of the planets Armada leading fleets upon fleets of ships to battle the constantly attacking enemies.
Eventually, they overcome even her brilliance and with one battleship left, she and her army and crew escape to a small nook of the galaxy that has come to be known as Stellar Dawn, what adventures await them are unknown.

I was born on the planet Niiroxis, born to royalty. I was destined to be the ruler of the land that we lived on. Then a coup took place, my father and mother were both killed. I lashed out, and killed the 2nd in command of the one who was taking over. In fear of my life, I quickly fled to the hangar, where I jumped in my starship that I had recently finished(but had not tested it at all). I traveled for several days before I had a crash landing, on a small dwarf planet which had been undiscovered. I set up my headquarters there, built a new ship and planned my revenge against the military of Niiroxis.
