One thing I've noticed with web developers is that very few of them do what they do badly. I dunno whether it's because anyone can see the final result (the HTML and CSS, anyway), or whether it's because as a group they have good resources and a good helpful open-sourcey community, but almost all the sites that I've looked at the sources of these days seem to use quite standard's compliant (X)HTML/CSS. Of course there are exceptions, but really, it's nowhere as bad as it used to be.
Then again a I saw a site the other day where the HTML structure of the site was like this:
I really was quite sickened.

It's not just sloppy: notice the table tag is the root element, with everything else inside it. And the capitalisation is a LITTLE bit exaggerated, btw.
oh wow....that coding stinks....badly....man i can smell it from over here. :P
not even a title tag in it either.

here's a website that i did a while back for RuneScape called "The Merchant of Death" it was a very cheap store for RuneScape where you could by items in RuneScape for very cheap....even had a discount for people as well that got up to like 15%-20% or something like that......Still have all the files for that website as well...Just wish i could find a very good website host "for free" that allows ASP scripting on it....then i can bring it back and update it where i wont have to manually update all the item prices by hand every few days.
website URL for internet archive: http://web.archive.o...tp://tmd-1.com/.....to bad they didn't get every part of the site....i think you would have liked it.
