I know it seems typical and conformative. But it's what I say. Especially on IRC.
*** now talking in #somechannel *** ChanServ sets channel #somechannel mode +o milesrout <@milesrout> Hello Folks!
Always the same capitalisation. Always the exclamating mark. Because that's what I do.
Enough of that:
I'm Miles Rout, and I'm a big fan of JaGEx, as I still like to capitalise their name. I've played Runescape on and off (currently semi-off but still following) since 2005, and, I've always liked the FunOrb games and before them the little games on the old JaGEx website. I've always been interested in SciFi, and I really, really can't wait for Stellar Dawn. However, I also can't wait for Rift: Planes of Telara and End of Nations.
I'm from Christchurch, New Zealand. I know various amounts of various markup, scripting, and programming languages, my latest favorite being perl, mainly for it's default variable and TIMTOWTDI (there is more than one way to do it) philosophy. I've used Linux since before I can remember, with various distros including Gentoo, Red Hat, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu, Fedora and most lately Arch.
I try not to use Windows, but
if ($pcgaming && !($windows)){ die("IMPOSSIBLE");}I'm 14, I'm in Year 12, which means I have to finish this year and next year before I go to University, and I think I'll study a little thing called Computer Science.
And that's me really.
PS: I'm a gamer, but I like girls. And Twitter. And Intel Atom processors. But in 3 different ways...
